Does not recall the last location

Version 1.0.48 (1.0.48) - Setapp

Current behavior.
When setting a location, closing the app and opening it always defaults to Northpine.

Expected behaviour.

When setting a location like Cape Town and restarting the app the location should be Cape Town.

Did try clearing the cache and it did not help.
