When I start the timer and no music is playing, start playing music
I use Clariti as a Pomodoro timer. As soon as the timer ends, the music stops, I take a break. When I get back, I would like to simply start the timer again and have music start playing. Currently, if I start the timer and there’s no music playing, when I hit play, it will start the music but stop the timer.

user-select: none; css
I think you can just do that for styles. Its slightly annoying to be able to select these. Difficulty 0/10 user-select: none;

Change Location
Hi, I’d like to be able pick another city to use as a location. The weather in my location is pretty monotonous most of the year. Would love to use the town I grew up in or a place that I’ve visited and love.

Play Directly from the “More Info” View on macOS
When browsing sound layers in Clarity, the More Info view gives a detailed description, tags, and a volume slider. It’s a great space to decide if a layer fits the mood—but there’s no way to actually play it from here. It feels natural to want a Play button right in this view, so you can listen before jumping back to the grid. This would: Save clicks and keep the flow smoother. Let you quickly test sounds while reading their descriptions. Make the More Info screen not just informative, but interactive. It’s a small change that would make exploring and choosing layers more intuitive and efficient.

Control Center shortcut
Would absolutely LOVE to see a shortcut in the Control Center for macOS/iOS. This would make the app even better!

System shortcut for play/pause
I would like a system wide shortcut for play/pause so I don’t need to search for the menubar or the window when I need to start and stop the sound.

Resizable Mini Player or Desktop Widget
I’ve been using Clarity by Sound LLC and really enjoy the experience. However, I’d like to suggest a small improvement that could enhance usability, especially for those of us who multitask or prefer minimal interfaces. Currently, when clicking the menu bar icon, a mini version of the player pops up—but it cannot be moved or resized. I believe introducing a lightweight, movable, and resizable mini player or desktop widget would be a fantastic addition. It would allow users to keep the player accessible without taking up much screen space or interfering with workflow. This could function like a floating window or widget, staying on top when needed but remaining unobtrusive. It would also be helpful if it offered basic controls like play/pause, volume, and next/previous track. Thanks for considering this feature! I believe it would really improve the day-to-day usability for many users.

Add Pause/Play to dock icon.
Please can you add a pause/play function when right clicking on the dock icon. Much like other apps which play music do.

Binaural And Noises: Please Add Green Noise and Black Noise
Therapist recommended these binaural noise types specifically, but they aren’t currently represented in Clariti. Helpful link - https://mantasleep.com/blogs/sleep/different-kinds-of-colored-noise

Make "Layers" actual layers
Right now the different options are titled Layers but layers to me indicates being able to stack multiple items together. I see no way to currently play “Crickets: Nighttime Nature's Rhythmic Soundscape” and “Forest Birds Chirp: Dawn Chorus for Calm and Focus” together at the same time even though they would have really great synergy. Or playing “Forest Birds Chirp: Dawn Chorus for Calm and Focus” and “Rosy Horizon Hum: Pink Noise Soundscape” at the same time. Please allow selecting multiple layers at the same time.

Done -> Next Release
Add Upbeat / Rhythmic Layers
While I find the current soundscapes relaxing at times while working, I'm looking for something more upbeat that still allows me to concentrate. For me, various types of electronic music often help achieve a flow state and even elevate my energy and concentration levels. I'm sure there are also other soundscapes that people would appreciate listening to. It would be nice to have a selection beyond the current spa-like soundscape options.

'Click to Accurate' is awkward phrase.
Sorry, as a copywriter I can’t let things go sometimes: I realise this is not a priority, but when you open the app, a small speech bubble hovers over the location saying ‘Click to Accurate If Needed’ - since accurate is not a verb this jumps out at me. Maybe change to ‘Click If Inaccurate’ or ‘Click to Improve Accuracy’ or ‘Click to Adjust’ or ‘Click to Refine’ - something like that. Not trying to be a grammar Nazi or anything, but hope this is helpful. Great app, I actually use it when I proofread as anything else distracts me. Thanks muchly and great work :-)

Create Saved Layers+Pulse+Timer Settings.
Often, I find that I enjoy what’s playing and want to save it to listen to again later. Can this be an option for a future release?

Layer, soundscape, timers not accessible in square view (version 1.1.0 (build 75))
Version 1.1.0 (build 75): If square view is chosen the layer, soundscape, timer icons become inactive. Changing back to rectangular view is the temporary fix.
